High Capacity Olympian for Fenland Fruit Farm
Today we had the pleasure of handing over this ex Nottingham City Transport Volvo Olympian to Barway Services Ltd of Ely, Cambs. Barway supply transport for the many fruit and veg pickers employed by GS Growers Ltd, one of the largest fruit and veg suppliers in the East of England. The requirement for a high capacity seat belted decker with decent ground clearance due to the rough terrain it will operate over was met by this East Lancs bodied Olympian from Skills Group. Lawton Motor Bodies repainted the bus out of Skills yellow into the blue livery of Barway Ltd. Darren is pictured here handing the bus over to Jaroslav Hamouz, Operations Manager of GS Growers Ltd / Barway Ltd prior to the journey over to Cambridgeshire.
