One of our latest sales was of this immaculate Short Wheelbase Dennis Dart with unusual East Lancs Spryte bodywork to Lakeside Coaches of Ellesmere, Shropshire. Whist predominantly a Coach Operator, Lakeside operates a small network of bus services in the Oswestry, Wem, and Whitchurch areas. When they found themselves in need of a spare / back up bus this little DDA compliant Dart was exactly what they were looking for, and the unexpected bonus was it’s green moquette matches Lakeside’s two tone green and white livery. Whilst the Dart was collected last week I took the opportunity to call in and ensure it had settled in and grabbed a quick photograph with Neal Hall, Managing Director of Lakeside. The vehicle was supplied by Tyrer’s Coaches of Chorley, Lancs and presented to the high standard we have come to expect of the vehicles sold on behalf of this operator.
