Today I attended the Harris Group event at Rockingham Speedway and had the opportunity to view the Higer Super 9 in detail. Now, bearing in mind I was quite sceptical and that with any Chinese product the King Long stigma is always tucked away at the back of my mind all I can say is WOW!. What a machine. It’s very well finished and drives beautifully. Obviously during my time at AB&C I drove a number of Temsa MD9 which I still think is a great product, that was what I had to measure it against. The first thing I noticed was how much quieter it is. I also was conscious of how much more stable it was and how much better it held the road. This I put down to the fact to it being fitted with 22.5″ wheels. The amount of extras that are standard was notable. USBs, CCTV, Wired for Wifi, Full Leather at no extra cost, Power Operated Lockers to N/S, the list goes on. I am extremely impressed with this vehicle and have agreed to work in conjunction with Harris Group to market this product, I am hoping to have one available to demo to prospective customers in the next few weeks. These vehicles are priced competively against similar products with the Cummins ISB6 ZF Ecolife driveline and I certainly see this product being a strong contender in this market. I also had chance to view and drive the new LDV range of Minibuses including the fully electric EV version and again I was impressed. Anybody out there thinking Freight Rover Sherpa will be in for a shock. These are also competitively priced. We are looking forward to a long and prosperous relationship with Harris Group.
